I have implimented the use of many presets radio frequencies on our training server both UHF(COM1) and VHF(COM2) radios come with preloaded presets.
To make our lives easier I set the Airfield ATC as Preset 1 on both as well as the default startup frequency the one the UHF(COM1) radio starts with on power up)
Here is how to navigate through the preset channels, PLEASE NOTE the radio only displays the preset number not the frequency (a kneeboard with all the presets frequencies on would be a good idea if and when I learn how to install bespoke KB embedded into the miz files) I would expect all pilots to note down not only the various frequencies but any Presets that correspond to the same from the Briefing provided.
