7 December mission

Post by Wee Neal 0414 »

Hi everyone

The next mission, on the 7 December, will be (I hope) a new experience, a challenge and lots of fun.

The essence of the mission is a tactical insertion at about dawn of inf and mortars in order to set a linear ambush of the pesky VC. We will be at tree top height and we will need coordinated landings approx 1.5 m apart. Gunship and A10 support as well. We will then be conducted Casevac duties and if all goes badly we will then need to do a further snap ambush if we are only partially successful in the kill zone.

Some reading If you would like to: http://grunt-redux.atspace.eu/ambush3.htm

There will be a full brief later this week. Please let me know if you are up for it?

Thanks

Neal
