Basic flight training

Hi all

if there is anyone who requires some training/assistance with basic helicopter flying please let me know. We have a number of people very willing to help out. I would suggest that we do this in the Huey (on sale at the moment) as you can use multicrew to increase the training benefits. If interested please let me know either here on PM and we can sort something out.

How different does the Huey feel from the Apache? I've got basic controls sorted, it's the finer stuff - Low hovers etc

the Huey is better for learning as you have no distractions and its very manual. With the multicrew the instructor can see all of your control movements and advise accordingly. Its then a fairly simple to transition to the Apache flying, leaving brain space to learn the systems.

Awesome, just purchased it. I'll take it up and get familiar with it and we can then plan when I am happy to do some basics, if that's alright.

As Neal says the Huey is a great helicopter for teaching as student and instructor sit side by side. We can get you hovering in no time. Just pm me if you'd like a lesson.
