My plan is to purchase it on EA, leave it in the box for two years.
Obviously I'll be listening to everyone moan about what's missing, then when it's sorted and if I have the time I'll give it a whirl.

I plan on getting it day one and flying the crap out of it, integrate it as part of 11F for land based missions (being the CAP squadron afterall) and all live happily ever after!

I am certain that will be the case. A modern, capable RAF airframe will make all the difference here.

I think that the OCU and 41Sqn will re-role to Typhoon once we see the quality of the production, there's no point in reducing our range of roles and capabilities by changing to an incomplete airframe.

If it's pretty complete, we'll probably run a conversion course for the boys in the background until we can step across. It'll be put to the vote but I'm guessing that we'd all prefer to fly the Flag!!
Sometimes stuff is supposed to fall off....sometimes not.
I still can't be sure which... :?

Its been said it will be based on the german Typhoon with only A2A capability. Hopefully it will become multirole as it develops further after release.
