Syria map

Eagle dynamics just presented the new Syrian map.
Is a smal map but full of history.

It'll be a while before we see it listening to Wags intro. There will be more mission review clips before it is released "this summer". Looks very nice though.

The mission I'm doing is based on Yom Kippur war.
It will have 2 fronts, unfortunately, Syria map doesn't have Israel south border, if it had, has just like a glove to my mission ...

Looks great this. Although small it has very nice varied terrrain, detail and historcal conflict significance.

I don't mind it being small though tbh, large maps generally either have either a theatre set in a small region of it or huge transit times.

I am looking forward to this.

What do you all think of it, bearing in mind it's early access.
I had a solo flight in a Huey, lots of detail and I'm quite impressed how the ground has lots of dips and bumps in the built up areas.
Didn't kill my system in vr either which surprised me.

I can run it without issues, but it does have lower frame rates than older maps.

It needs lots of memory I understand.

Flew it in M/P last night and had no issues at all. Think this could be my favorite, well at least for the moment!
