Ok so that was very painful, however all aircraft now have a brief that will only display to that flight but still have the radio option to repeat it if needed, I have started to tailored the briefs according to the aircraft (i.e all WW2 aircraft/helo's will not have details like tankers in their brief as simply there is no need and I can use the limited radio menu space for other things)
I have dumbed down the radio menu in the sense that now only RAF Air skinned aircraft can respawn the tankers and Overlord to stop anyone from seamlessly spamming the buttons and annoying the hell out of the rest of us.
I will be testing the helo mission later on, as my eyes are currently in a different orbit due to staring at computer screens too long
I will upload this new version once the server is free from players.
I hope this makes things easier for everyone

Top Man.
Shall we fly this on Thursday night so we can get some Mirage time in?

That sounds good to me Neil, the new mission variant will be active on the server once I get back from having a little break, then I shall being testing it helicopter side (if I can stay airborne)

Quick update:29/3/17
Some real time has gone in to this today, adding around 150 new trigger actions for the briefs and new missions, so I hope everyone enjoys it!
Updated
* Added new helicopter cargo transport mission - Complete
* Added helicopter troop transport mission (troops embarking are a bit iffy, if they don't embark the mission will still carry on as planned just without the troops, so it will not cause your mission to fail)- Complete
* New Interception mission from IP Hornet (a friendly C130 has lost comms with ATC find him from his last known grid and escort him to Batumi) - Complete
* New interception mission from IP Hornet (Intercept an An 30 and force him to bug out of the AO, but do not shoot him! ) - Complete
* All aircraft will now display a brief associated to that group as soon as the aircraft is occupied by the player - Complete
* All Helicopter missions are generate by use of the radio menu when occupying a helicopter.
*Be aware now all fighter aircraft are at a full fighting ROE, they will look for you, they will find you and God knows they will try to kill you, the tankers, the AWACS and everyone else the server holds dear!! to this end I may add afew flights of friendly aircraft to protect our tankers and AWACS, which in turn will help to protect any lone A10C's should a player spawn enemy fighters.
The helicopter mission are really a work in progress, I just wanted to get something on the server to work on, I cannot figure out the issue with the troops, however that might just be ED's side for the time being.
All of the briefs will be expanded on at a later date, so there are not enough hours in the day lmao

Yes, was a pain sorting the briefs out, however all seems to be working well now, the target range seems to be popular with Paul which is nice to see it used, as always I'm here and would love yo hear any criticism and can alter anything required.

Re: Caucasus Generic Mission
The basic ED troops embarking and disembarking from choppers has been broken for months. Used to be very good, but is now a constant source of complaints. There are ways around around it using MOOSE etc (not sure about MIST), but it is not worth spending your time on it at present.
I flew the Spit yesterday, but of course I had forgotten that once airborne it is not easy to ID grid references etc. I did see the message about the Antonov, but it was (I think) around 240 nm away.
I look forward to seeeing it all in action this evening.

Re: Caucasus Generic Mission
Yes, my next move is to stop the WW2 aircraft receiving those messages (thank you for bringing this to my attention I shall address this hopefully before tonight's flight, if the electrician puts the power back on in time for me to edit the mission ) so I can limit the messages received to only the WW2 specific missions I am currently working on (soon to be implemented on to the mission)
And I shall follow the same route with Korean aircraft aswell.
EDIT:
In relation to struggling to find the locations in certain aircraft, that is something I need to work on, so far I have added a heading and range to target in all briefs given from the location of the IP. Obviously this is not ideal, however I need to find a better solution, which may just be making enemy aircraft show on the F10 map view for the time being

Re: Caucasus Generic Mission
A thorny issue indeed Matt. I guess WW2 stuff should be given locations like "2 NM SW of a town, a peak or a lake. I can see the F10 map being essential though. Alternatively, some form of GCI, or just briefing them to "scramble, climb to angels one five, and fly heading 225 degrees".
I haven't dabbled with GCI, but being talked onto a target is the most realistic method apart from just flying patrols and using the Mk 1 eyeball.
Would setting a trigger for some units to spawn or scramble when a pilot enters specific locations be a possibility perhaps? That would make fighter sweeps seem authentic I guess.
Another big thing for WW2 is flak of course - it accounted for a lot of losses over Normandy I think.

Re: Caucasus Generic Mission
I think I could achieve this in the way of a radio menu spawn for the AI, so the AI will spawn once the radio menu is pressed, therefore I can give a scrambling friendly forces with a range heading and altitude of the enemy fighters, along with some reference points maybe? what do you think?
