Tuesday 12th January - Op Corduroy 1 re-run
After the success of last Tuesday’s mission, and while the next phase in that series is being written, there will be another outing on that first sortie which some useful tweaks.
If you are attending, can you let us know here please?

Re: Mission Sign Up
Next instalment - Op Dumas - will be held next Tuesday 19th.
I’ll be there. Can I count the rest of 892 Sqn in too?

Re: Mission Sign Up
It looks like we’ll have a SEAD and airfield interdiction task on Tuesday night.
I suggest we have a pair for each task, providing their own self defence, or a pair on cover and a pair doing the tasks?
Preferences anyone?

Re: Mission Sign Up
Woud this be a stretch for me, who has very little experience of F18 at the mo?

Re: Mission Sign Up
From chat you're OK getting on and off the carrier, you A10 experience will carry over on the nav side, and HARMS are relatively easy to use. So, that said, if we can get together before hand for a flight I reckon certainly you'll be good for a 'mission' experience' and not too tasked A2A excepting. If not a flight of 4 it'll be a 3 anyway so no matter, if you fancy it join in. I'm sure Neil will arrange duties accordingly, maybe, 1 good pair and a rookie pair... Shout if you want a flight later tonight or tomorrow day (spits in evening)Would this be a stretch for me
Kind Regards
Chris

Re: Mission Sign Up
In at the deep end Wee Neal.
A quick intro to the radar and HARM deployment will see you through.
It sounds like we need to pair up as Chris suggests, and we’ll share tasking, so everyone can self-defend against incoming aircraft in addition to the primary goals.
When can you get into a bit of training Neal?
