Re: HKP4
Yep, that's how I land the UH-1H too - eventually, if I don't plough into the deck first!
If he keeps practising, he'll be able to land it without all that spinning around stuff - I sometimes can now, and I can even pick up underslung cargo loads too - amazing!
Seriously though, that looked excellent, though I imagine the Vertol is no longer in service there? I thought it was a 'Nam era chopper?

Last one's got pulled around 2010 here in Sweden i believe.
So now we don't have any ASuW SUB platforms :/ and sub's in the backyard if you believe the media and defense force.
Implementing NH90's
And filled some gaps (MEDEVAC) with blackhawks.
We also have a gaggle of AgustaWestland AW109's, some has been used in operation Atalanta.

Yep, things are definitely cooling down again in the warm war with Russia.
What you need up there is a fleet of Westland Merlins for ASW, or maybe some second hand Seakings - though I am sure they are only worth scrap value after so long in service with the RAF.
Maritime defence is definitely not what it was anywhere in the North Atlantic without Nimrod and all the other cuts.
