Re: AH64D Apache
Don't know what is going on, tried the Apache last night and it started perfectly, tried this morning and I cannot get engine 2 to spool up, I move the right power lever to idle when Ng is beyond 20%, and engine just spools up to 45% and holds at that. Tried all sorts but it just wont go up any further. Might try a DCS Repair see if that fixes it.
Let you know how I get on.
Update: DCS Repair seems to have fixed things.
Just got to remember what keybindings belong to what hats or switches on TM Warthog(that's the hard bit)
Paul.

Paul, check your collective is fully down. Same happened to me, and it turned out to be a mapping faux pas.

Apache - 60 SQN training
Morning, now that we are starting to consider and learn the aircraft, 60Sqn will use our normal Mondays as training with a confirmatory mission. Say on a 2 to 1 ratio, I think we should start with basic flight and landing procedures, which will include using the Nav systems. We can introduce night flying as we progress. I think if we can all concentrate on these elements ready for tomorrow we can then help each other learn.
After the basics:
A. Weapon systems, incl front as multiplayer
B. Tactical SOP for pairs and Sqn
C. Range time benign and range time feisty.
D. Operational assessments.
Anyway that’s my view as a starter for 10, views welcome?
