All,
Here is my initial plan for Op Deep Strike.

I’ve made several changes to the original flight plan. Routing to the RV is virtually unchanged. Lots of WPs have been added to the river run, mainly on the bends. As we return north up the river, I’ve added a WP entitled Tanker???. This is where you decide to take on fuel, or not. Routing back to Hatay is very similar to the original.

Extra WPs have been added to the target area. See diagram below.
We will have 2 flights. Pontiac 1 & 2. Tactics will be:-

PONTIAC FLT 1:
At WP20:IP 1-Main, slowly climb to not above 500ft, and attack WP21:TARGET East, with 12*Mk82Air. Immediate turn left to WP22:IP 2-East, turn back to WP21:TARGET East, and re-attack with 42 unguided rockets. Sharp turn right to WP26:Exit, and continue to follow river.

PONTIAC FLT 2:
At WP20:IP 1-Main, slowly climb to not above 500ft, and attack WP23:TARGET West, with 12*Mk82Air. Immediate turn right to WP24:IP 3-West, turn back to WP23:TARGET West, and re-attack with 42 unguided rockets. Sharp turn left to WP26:Exit, and continue to follow river.

There is a Shilka and ZSU just to the south of Target West. They threaten both targets. I haven’t seen them whilst testing, but that may be due to timings. If they appear on the night, we may have to orbit at WP20. I may have to carry a MavD, and attack it well above the height restriction. I can see that spoiling my evening.

To keep the miz looking uncluttered, I've removed all the other flights.

I hope I don't miss this one. If I may I prefer to confirm during this week, if that doesn't interfere with mission editing.

Put me down for it please. I think I can get up and running by then. Preferably as tail-end Charlie.

Luis,
Hope you can make it. Late notification will be fine.
Flyco,
Here's hoping you have sorted the Windows11 compatibility challenges. You are bringing up the rear.

All,
Flight line up will be:-
Pontiac 1-1: Geoff
Pontiac 1-2: Luis
Pontiac 2-1: Paul, deputy lead.
Pontiac 2-2: Flyco.

We have 8 serviceable planes on the tarmac.

All,
During this mission, approaching WP31, each individual will decide if tanking is required.
There are 3 tankers. Two at 430kts, and Arco at 230kts, 18000ft. Is 230kts acceptable?

We should be practically empty of stores by then, so 230 knots is easy.
