AAR in the A-10C_2

Trying to get back up to speed on the A-10, and have found a snag with the A-10C_2. As I approach the boom at about 20 yds range, I get a little blip which increases pitch by up to 1 degree, and a small 2-4 kt increase in speed.

It is entirely reproducible on my set up, and now I know what to expect I can cope, but it is a pain.

Is anyone else finding this?

I must admit, I had a go at AAR this afternoon, and I can't say I noticed anything different from before.
