Hello from the new guy..

Post by RAF0661 »

My name is Aaron, I've always had a interest in aviation more so Mil aviation now. My first exposure to DCS was seeing videos of the platform on youtube and was straight away impressed with the realism and complexity and I wanted a bit of it. I love the amount of stuff there is to learn and hope to enhance that a lot more with your community you have and gain as much knowledge as possible and hopefully down the line become a SME in the A10c II. I'm serving Military and my unit tends to get what we call fast balls or in other words lastminute.com so there's high chances one minute I will be here all the time and another I disappear for a period of time, I hope this does not create a drama and I look forward to being able to have a crack at flying with you guys.

Welcome Aaron.
The A10 is a superb plane I'm sure someone from 97Sqn will be in contact.

RAF Air is a great group with several members serving or ex military, definitely don't worry about that.

Hi Aaron, another A-10 driver, good to see, we're a rare breed nowadays. Unfortunately I have just moved house and the broadband here at the moment is diabolical so no MP flying for me at the moment, hopefully getting fibre connected in the not to distant future. Hopefully one of the other lads in 97 Squadron will be in contact with you if you need any help with anything to do with setting up or A-10 queries, and don't be afraid to ask either, someone will be able to help I'm sure.

Hope to be able to fly with you soon.

Paul.

Hi Aaron, welcome .

Should you decide to fly F18 at some point , please feel free to pay us a visit on the OCU where we'd be happy to show you what we do and how we train and teach.
Sometimes stuff is supposed to fall off....sometimes not.
I still can't be sure which... :?

Aaron, in the temporary absence of the boss, Paul, I would be happy to get you flying in the A10C or A-10C-2.

Just drop me a note in this topic.

Hiya Aaron, welcome to the RAFAIR. Hopefully we see you on the flightline soon.
If you fancy the F-16 at all, give myself or Danny a shout.
