Hi, great to be here!

Post by Wulbhoy78 »

Hi guys, thank you for accepting me the squadron. I downloaded DCS about 2 years ago and hardly touched it, I thought it was far too complicated for what I was getting from it. Now it's the complication of the bloody thing that keeps me coming back! I have around 30 hours in the AC-10 II and can blow things up with everything except mk82's. Currently, I'm on the 2nd nav mission in Iron Flag. I'm hoping to work my way through them all before I muster up the courage to fly on a server!

Hi Wulbhoy and welcome.

You will learn much more and much quicker online.

97 Sqn has some great pilots and a vast amount of experience with the Hog, you'll be whizzing (well dawdling) around in no time.

Hi and welcome

I spent many years in single player before jumping into MP and all I can say is that I learnt more in a few weeks than the previous 2 years. My advice; jump on and enjoy, there is a wealth of help and lots of fun to be had. I also fly the A10, albeit not as often as i would like, 97 Sqn have taught me loads.

Welcome to RAFAIR mate,

I flew the A10 for around 3 or 4 yrs before diving into MP, I can tell you it was the best thing that happened in terms of learning how to do it right, I always had this thought that I'd make a complete cock of myself lol. I wish I'd done it sooner, you will learn more and at a faster rate by joining 97 Sqdn and getting feedback, tips and tricks from the guys in the Sqdn and you'll enjoy it much more.
Don't be a stranger , jump in there and enjoy yourself.

Hi Wulbhoy78,

Welcome to 97 Sqn, you'll find everyone most welcoming. If you need to know anything, please don't be afraid to ask on the forum or pop onto Teamspeak and ask there, people will be more than willing to help you.

Hopefully I will get to fly with you soon.

Paul.
