Thanks Alan, we have worked out our Nav Grid requirements from this and will be fully aware of whats going on in the AO.Flyco wrote: ↑10 May 2020, 17:20 Shaggy, I have attached the outline brief for this week's mission. I shall be producing slightly more detailed briefs for each of the participating flights, but I will leave you to produce the one for the F-14 element - that is, Uzi and Pontiac.
The map will also change, in that there are no ships. Both Uzi and Pontiac will operate from Koboleti. However, none of the red blobs will alter significantly. Your opposition will be 4 L-39s, and 8 Mig 21s from Sochi, and 8 Mig-29s from each of Maykop, Krasnodar-Pashkovsky, and Gelendzhik. However, the Dodge and Colt attacks on the first two of those, should stop most, if not all of them from the first 2 airfields from getting airborne.

Neil, you don't know how close you came to tasting Hog-Lead last night! Your wash very nearly made me lose my laser lock - fortunately I regained it and so decided to let you live.

Re: Tuesday 12th May 2020
I was just diligently providing close in CAP. I thought you would take comfort knowing I was about.
I managed to bag a brace too. An L-39 from very close in so I knew it wasn’t a Tomcat disguised as the enemy again, and a Mig-29 which was well away from the friendliest.
A good mission, thanks.

Sorry for the lack of CAP tonight gents. Bit of a terrible performance for UZI. We had a host of issues, some were typical DCS bugs, the others just weird.
Scoobs started with no sound in game so has to reboot
Alien’s Jester wouldn’t switch from ground alignment to INS so he had to respawn.
We all ended up taking off at different times without our wingmen.
Scoobs game crashed as we was going in for a 2nd kill by Sochi.
The rest of the flight was so far behind by the time they reached their CAP area the Migs and L39’s were in the air.
For some reason our comms was completely dominated by Paul on SRS. We couldn’t hear anything anyone else was saying! We heard him have a pop at Neil lol!
We also got the Nav Grid set up wrong. 3 of us went to practice straight after and try settings with it using your bulls eye cords for the mission. We have a better idea of what to do next time to help everyone out.
