Re: Tuesday 7th July 2020
This will be an updated and (I hope) improved version of the previous Op Northern Clout. I hope to get individual flight details out a week in advance, so that Flt Cdrs can prepare and brief their flt members.
An overall outline brief is attached.

Re: Tuesday 7th July 2020
Op Northern Clout is now updated and ready for use. Pending any changes in plan it will be flown on Tues 7 Jul, briefing at 1900 for a planned start time of 0800. Total mission time will be 1:30 to 2:00 hours.
Briefs are attached for all elements other than the F-14s which I will produce this weekend.
I am aware that the F-16 is giving some problems at present. However, I have flown the more complex of the F-16 sorties three times so-far and it has worked well each time (I wish I could say the same for me!). However, I have tried to build in an automatic tapering-off of Red fighters in the event of non-show or non-performance by any element. I will also fly an F-16 on the night if numbers are low.
Please look through the attached briefs and let me have any questions, observations, or suggestions as soon as possible. Planned numbers for each aircraft type are between 4 and 8. It will save time and hassle on the night, if Sqn Cdrs would prepare a list of their members attending and what flight they will be flying in.

I have completed the F-14 brief for the above mission, but seem to be unable to load it to the forum.
Not sure whether it is me or the Forum. I will try again later.

Sorry, I have to confess my ignorance. I would not know how to provide a 'link'.
