Multi squadron Mission Concept

Post by Chris »

I have an idea for a 3 operation mission mini series that I would like to develop if there is an appetite for such a concept.

A 3rd world country in which the coalition has recently invested heavily, has been invaded by a larger well armed neighbour. The coalition has decided to assist to expel the invaders.

George Wahington and 1 poss 2 Invincible class carriers with several companies of Marines, UH1H & Mi-17, Harriers, Pussycats / F18 have been tasked.

Harriers initially support Helos land assault force to take enemy held airfield then provide regional top cover. F14 combined CAP & CAS as directed

The Helos transport men and supplies to establish a fortified base and prepare the runways for A10s currently on route with a refuelling stage.

Ground and air forces work together with local troops to push back the enemy.
A10s CAS supporting troops on the ground and helo operations
Harriers Interdiction, Recce and CAS
F14’s / FF18’s CAP / CAS

Live JTACs will be operation as well as drones. CSAR will be in operation.

It is winter. Caucasus Map.

There is a possibility for experienced pilots to fly both helos and their primary AC in 2 stages on any mission if necessary with forewarning.

Any interest? Squadrons? Pilots?
Kind Regards
Chris :)

I’m still a noobie unqualed pilot, but this sounds fun. Would be great to fly with other airframes and interact with them.
