Sorry it went like that, I'm sure in the re-run it won't.

We were directly above you in the engagement Beanie, I took out 2x Red F16s and was then taken down myself by a third due to me being stupid however. Both myself and Shane were lost in that engagement too.

I think they were quite a tough opposition, the first pair were set as veteran but all the rest were set as trained. My plan assumed that the cap would be more established and 11f would take out the first 4 quite easily as the F16's took off and any leakers would have been taken by 3f sweep.
Teething problems, but I'm sorry it frustrated Beanie's and other's night after all the work put in. However all is not lost as a re-run will use the previous planning and every week it's a lesson learnt.

I enjoyed the evening, but I also got a lot from the planning with you all. I'm definitely not disheartened. In fact I feel quite energised with how our group mission is progressing.

But best of all I've got a new forum Signature.

The single F-16 that hit the four A-10s started firing missiles from around 30,000 and hit the first 3 all within 30 seconds and the fourth about 20 seconds later. That is better than good in my book!

For the next incarnation of this mission, the Turkish F16 pilots have defected and have been replaced Mig21's and Mig 29's.

Shall we re-run this mission next week?

If running again I will re-issue the intel miz map on Thursday evening and squadrons can alter their plan or keep the same.
  • Issue new improved FRAG with take off times
  • Alter the ground targets for 97 with more stuff trying to kill Alan
  • 11F will take off from Paphos and return to the Carrier
  • Update 41's Frequencies
  • Change Red Air to 21's and 29's
  • Add a couple of improving triggers
F4's may be an unknown again, so it may be better to stick to 21's and 29's for this one.
(I'm away for the following 2 weeks so you'll either be updating yourselves or running an old one for the 10th & 17th unless you have something.)

Sounds good to me Andrew.

I did try many times to get an F2 View of other aircraft but with no joy. I do like to take video on these missions, also there's no point in having Sqdn skins if we can't see them.

Even the F10 map only had my a/c icon, previously I've been able to click on an a/c icon in the f10 map then f2 to see that aircraft'

I need to check that then. I thought I had it set up. But I'm no expert.
Here's last night's settings, let me know what I need to change. I figure I need to change it to Allies only or All on the F10 map option?

I didn't know you could click on an aircraft and then press f2. Always learning.
