A re-run of Ellac is proposed for Tuesday 03-08-21

Intel .miz attached with some minor changes
  • 3 x Shilka added to 97's AO, some minor damage to private property is permitted, cluster weapon use is prohibited.
  • 11F will take off from Paphos and return to Teddy
If you wish to adjust your way points return your miz back to me by Sunday 5 am.

Currently I have not changed the F16's to Migs, however their skill rating will be lowered slightly, please let me know what you all think.

A new FRAG will be published with take off times by Monday night, other than that the old FRAG with the new Intel Miz should be used.

Questions will be answered in this thread but please note it will be tidied twice a day to keep the information clear. When files are updated these will be added to the first post.

All squadrons please post numbers below:

1F:

3F: 7 (+1 possible)

11F: 6 ( possibly 8 )

41F: 6 (poss 8)

97 SQN: 3 (so far, more will follow)

892 NAS:

Squad flights added to intel Miz map. See first post.

Always worth a check.

Please note, if your target points are reliant on an accurate height, these have to be manually reset after copying squadron waypoints. With around 40-50 target waypoints I can't promise 100% I have done them all.
To check your waypoint height, move the cursor over the ground by your waypoint, if the heights are the same it's been done, if they are adrift let me know the waypoint number and the flight it is in and I will change it in the main Mission miz.

Have a good one.

Andrew, so far as I can see, 9 of our targets have been elevated by around 100 ft.

Additionally, one of our critical targets, which is located in a specific built-up area has been moved by around 300 m, into an entirely different part of a built up area. This is part of our initial SEAD sweep against 4 critical targets and so time spent searching for it will delay our TOT. I would be grateful if you could move this one target, or let me know and I will try and adjust our run-in path.

This critical target was at: WD 72869 83881 (Elev 112 ft) but is now at: WD 72922 83797.
If you are not able to move this, please let us know before start time tonight.

The 9 targets that have an incorrect elevation are as follows

92 Sqn Flt 1
WP 1 is 161 ft should be 62 ft
WP 4 is 98 ft should be 0 ft
WP 9 is 374 ft should be 276 ft
WP 10 is 177 ft should be 78 ft
WP 11 is 203 ft should be 105 ft
WP 16 is 164 ft should be 63 ft

92 Sqn Flt 2
WP 1 is 161 ft should be 62 ft
WP 5 is 299 ft should be 202 ft
WP 16 is 164 ft should be 63 ft

Finally, a separate matter. I note that a column of tanks (with Shilka protection), pass through our area of interest at around the time of our arrival. They should not interfere with our activities, but if we run out of targets are we clear to attack them. They end up about 4 nm NE of our main target area and 4 nm SE of our Artillery targets.

If the above all prove too difficult to fettle within the time available, please let us know, and we will try and cope, albeit this could be at the expense of our required TOT.

Andrew, I am sorry, I got the old and the new co-ordinates for Pontiac-2 Waypoint 7 the wrong way round.

If possible, we would like the co-ordinates of this Shilka, and WP 7 at WD 72869 83881 (elev 112 ft). This was the original position.

Done.
And I think I may have moved it by accident along the way somewhere. But we got there in the end.
