FC,
I developed a mission for 97Sqn. It involved destroying two bridges, trapping a train between the two, and then attacking the train.
It worked well on my own PC. Tonight we flew the same mission on Server 1. A trigger operated as expected when I hit a WP. We received a message saying the train had left the station. However, selecting CTRL+F12, I could not see the train, but the scenery was moving as if the train was on the track. I don't know what happened. Maybe it was programable trains in multiplayer, or an issue with our own servers.
Just thought I'd bring it to your attention, in case the train arriving with the 97Sqn SA10, affects the outcome of your mission.

Hi Geoff, trains do not activate triggers currently in dcs. Therefore the SA10 delivery on Gauntlet is time based rather than physical. The train moves along the track and such but to stop the train delivery you must destroy the bridge before the given time. If not then the time that the train reaches the station triggers the SA10 convoy to spawn. Not the physical arrival of the train.

Its a janky work around but thats dcs for you.

Father, following last night's meeting, I have been working hard with my slide-rule and am fairly confident that we can do the SEAD task to the east in addition to the original local area task, provided that we get at least 4 A-10C drivers on the night. At a pinch a singleton can take out the essential targets (Unactivated SA-10, EWR, and EWR -1).

Ideally, we will use a minimum of 2 aircraft, and the 3 primary targets will be hit between around 0500(Z) and 0520. With those down, we will hit anything else we can find. This is obviously contingent on a bunch of Migs not falling upon us!

I will get the program to you by Monday at the latest.
