26th April 19:30 Op Persian Storm Final Sortie

Post by Duke »

Final Mission,

Confirmation of number appreciated although not vital.

Info on Google Briefing and Intel Miz file, Andrew will post correct layout of Frag once completed but I'll link what I emailed him as reference for you all.

TOT, Take off time etc can be adjusted to suit if needed. The weather has changed which is main difference from other missions, 0 AI involvement except static ground targets.

Google Brief: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/ ... sp=sharing

Google Doc I sent Andrew for Frag: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1OiB ... sp=sharing

Miz file attached

Duke,
Miz, and FRAG sent to Andrew downloaded ok.

The brief failed. I think my PC may have sent you a request for access.

Ok no worries, are we likely to have server issues if your away and unable to restart with just one server going?

Some of the admins have remote access, so if there are issues, they can sort things out.

Paul should be around, he can help.

Duke,
Here is the miz for 97Sqn:-
97Sqn PG Sortie 3 Final.miz
(93.27 KiB) Downloaded 48 times
The following WP's should be 0ftAGL, or equivalent ASL:-
1,10,11,12,13,14,15,16, & 20.

Flight time is 56mins at 240G/S. Our take off is 0604Z for a TOT of 0700Z. Currently we have 2 pilots confirmed, 3 probable, and 4 possible. Last night 97Sqn test flew our miz, with 3 pilots. We destroyed the 20, ZSU/S-60's in 16.5mins. BTR's/BMP's still operational. SPRINGFIELD TOT is 0710Z. We may have to ask them to hold until 0720Z, before it's safe to enter the POW Compound. We cannot speed up our transit, because fuel is at a premium. We will try to take-off as early as possible, with a TOT of 0655Z, or even 0650Z. Will the earlier times upset any of your triggers?

We depart Khasab, flying to the NE at 2000ft, well in front of Hermes. COLT's TOT is 0630Z, so I don't expect any conflict.

Hi Geoff, will copy paste your flightvand set wypts requested to ground level. In terms of triggers etc, there aren't any so won't affect anything when you take off it's completely up to you.

I do ask that everyone attends the briefing in full however so everyone knows the situation of each others flights and objectives.

Interms of Springfield we can just ask him to take off 10 minutes later, or fly a little slower etc, as I said TOT's etc can be adjusted if needed 👍
