Operation Protocol.
• Revolution in Iran has split the country into two states, East and West during the 1980-1990 civil war
• People of Western Iran asked for western help, Western Governments responded.
• There followed a 10 year period of calm, with the country split with a DMZ running North to South
• RAF Air are currently stationed at Shiraz International with a carrier group in the Western Gulf
• True East, the governing party of Eastern Iran have said it is time for the West to remove forces and let Iran be united.
• The Democratically elected government of Free Iran led by Soheil Arabi has appealed for help to keep Western Iran free.
• True East have started pushing forces into the DMZ

Objective
• Halt True East forces from pushing West across the DMZ and Inflict a degradation of enemy forces
• 1F will attack LAR airbase
• CAW 892 & 809 will attack a staging post
• 97 SQN will attack armour moving in to the DMZ
• 41F will attack Smerch Units
• CAW and 41F provide CAP / Sweep to protect 1F and 97 SQN and own attacks



True East Forces
• SA6 units along the border
• F16 fighters on a QRA, unknown quantity but are Fox 2 & 3 capable
• ZSU-23 Emplacements deployed around airfields
• Armoured unit air defence consist of SA-19, ZSU-23 Shilka radar guided AAA and ZSU-23 unguided. (edited)

Replied by DM on discord for our CAW Hawk Flight and provisional CAW 809 Tomcats incase FC doesn't get a chance :-)
