Post by WilloUK »

Bit of a long shot I have inadvertently cut my warbird base USB cable , and was wondering if any1 had a spare cable for sale ?
Virpil do sell them bit on sure they dont export to UK for orders less the £150
Thanks Phil

Have you spoken to Virpil... you may be pleasantly surprised. I have used their stuff from conception and on 1 occasion an errant cup of coffee jumped into the gubbings and fried the pcb and another time a small psb failed. Both times replacements came by post in an padded envelope no issues and not too expensive. I do not think Brexit will cause any hassle for a usb cable replacement as it will be put down probably as £0 value.

Personally I would just soldier the broken cable back together. Get a sharp knife, pare the thin inner wires, twist colour for colour and solder, insulate each wire with tape or shrinktube .. job done.

Failing that take it to a electronic repair man or decent amateur radio man, 5 minutes and little money will do it...
Kind Regards
Chris :)
