I also log pretty much everything I fly. The only exceptions are when I am test flying elements of missions that I am working on, to sort out routes, timings, fuel etc.

I am proposing that we should use the logbook data to identify just what aircraft are flown most regularly. That way we can target missions at the most popular aircraft.

Will Sqn Cdrs try and persuade members to log sorties.

I would hazard a guess that usually Pilots fly with their particular Squadron which is type specific. So if there are 20 pilots flying A10's 5 flying AV8B's and 3 flying f18's (not actual figures) then just by this supposition you'd be targeting missions just for the A10. I think you might have a riot on you're hands!
