Guys,
It appears from a few emails I have received tonight that not all of you are aware of how to log any flying hours.
Any hours that you fly, whether offline or on one of our servers can be logged against your name. I will be totally honest with you in that these hours are not used for anything other than a record of who has been flying and what they have been doing.
If you forget to log them, no worries, you will not be shot at dawn. It is just nice for each pilot to see how they have progressed.
There is a little video here https://www.dropbox.com/s/hdqcyteja0qbz ... P.mp4?dl=0 that will show you the way to do it. I am adding places/aircraft often so the current PIREP menu will have more options than shown in the video.
If you have not logged any hours at all, but have been flying with us, I am happy if you can give me a ball park figure, to add it as a block PIREP. Obviously I would sooner you under estimate than over estimate.
Could all Sqn OCs please make sure their pilots are aware of this thread.
Thanks

Re: Submitting your flight hours (PIREPs)
I've been logging mine since day 1 of joining, I like to see them add up.
On a side note, is there a chance we could include an option in the landing location field for "Ejected" and "KIA"?

I've just checked mine, I see no option for ejected or killed to death on my pirep landing location drop down.

There you go Steve.
You were correct, there wasn't one in there. I guess we were thinking of the old site pre 2019.
I have only put the EJECT option on the arrival airfield section, but have put the option after each map section.
