JSGME Guide

Post by Neil Willis »

There is nothing worse come time to update DCS World than finding all your mods need to be re-installed. This facility will make managing mods far easier, allowing them to be switched on and off at the touch of a button.

Simply uninstall all your mods before an update, and then re-install them afterwards for seemless (well OK, maybe) upgrades.

It's worth noting that some anti-viruses hate programs like JSGME and try to destroy them before they even install. I find Norton particularly aggressive, but you can usually get around it by confirming that it IS safe and you DO want to run it! I also find the set-up description a little confusing - but then everything confuses me these days.

That said, once up and running, it's magic! By exploring it's also useful in giving you an indication of just how some of these Mods do work, thereby opening the way for you to Mod the Mod - if you're brave enough.
