YAK Comms menu bug 25MAY21

Yesterday I was tasked to fly the venerable YAK in a 60 SQN 'BIRD DOG' role.... Great simple model let down by ED's inability to finish it albeit it does not cost too many pennies... anyway, no matter what I did, I could not bring up the COMMS menu and subsequently the F10 options for dropping smoke markers that were scripted in via CTLD. Terribly frustrating, the smoke was coming out of my ears!!!

Late last night after a shout out on the DCS forums the answer came in... in 'EASY COMMS' the COMMS Menu simply will not work.... if this option is removed and the circuit breakers for VHF AND INTERCOM are in the ON position then you can pull up the COMMS menu in the normal way. As an aside SRS does not care about the circuit breakers being on to function correctly...
