We can take out targets with the gazelle on the move so that should be fun :D

Trevor, the idea is to avoid rather than take out targets. If you are going to use a TOW on every soldier that you see you are going to have nothing left when you do need to fight your way out of a problem.

The sole aim is to extract the 3 troopers safely.

Alan, having just flown this it's a very enjoyable mission.

My only observation is that your destination FARP is somewhat floating, when I implimented this to the new generic build I have replaced the large four pad FARP with 4 single helipads and moved them down to the road a couple of hundred metres to the north east where the ground is level.

But other than that really enjoyable!

Great work.

Yes it was 'Dan Dare' heliport - floating in the air. I wasn't familiar with the separate helipads, and couldn't find anywhere within a reasonable distance to put the FARP.

Here is how I managed it Alan. its a basic solution only a small distance from the original location.

Thanks Matt. In fact, I have already put in the separate pads, together with a number of other changes - just to stop the journey being too tedious.

I will put the current version on Dropbox. But I will continue to enhance it with A-10C and F/A18 support.

Sounds good, I will check it out and update the generic version where needed.

Just flew this via the generic mission with Lau and Nick, and my god!

starting with an over weight Huey, it was the biggest challenge of my DCS helicopter career to get the bastard over those hills! but I made it after much back and forth to gain height, started with a Huey, Gazelle and KA50 made it to the end of the mission with the KA50 doing its best "Blackhawk down" impersonation a gazelle that became part of the terrain due to enemy forces and the lone Huey just about making it back to the FARP with little over 50Lbs of fuel left!

Great fun!

First mission for me in the KA50... and without knowing how to use the weapons.

Was a great moment learning how to fly that one or how to crash it :-)
