yes i know, im asking if the hornets are allowed the 9x or do they have to use 9m same as the tomcat? the x has ridiculous off boresight capability and i wanna know roughly how high the odds are stacked against us lol

Now I understand. Russ flys the F18. He shot me down this afternoon using an AIM9x. So the answer is YES to the 9x. The concept is to get up close in RED or Blue's six. So I expect all close range missiles to be available for a particular airframe. If one missile is better than another, then combat tactics will play an important part.
