It is with great pleasure that I announce the first graduate from the F18 OCU 16(R) Sqn

Russ will be promoted to Sqn Ldr and posted to 54 Sqn where he will take the position of OC A Flight.

As OC A Flight he will work up a program of continuation training to bring new Sqn members up to Combat Ready status.

Russ has always played a full part in the OCU, and more, for the two years that it has existed. He has worked hard over the last year to complete the OCU - which hasn't been easy as it is still a work in progress and development - but has done so in fine style. He has proven to be a reliabe and very helpful member of the team in mission writing, solving technical issues and teaching those following him through the course, and it is because of this I have no hesitation in awarding him this promotion and post.
