Server Hardware Update

Ade has been in touch regarding beefing up our main server, and he and Kieran have most of the stuff available gratis. So, a better mobo, PSU and bigger hard drive are all available and ready to install.

The only other thing we need is some RAM. Kieran is finding a good deal for us, but we will need some funding.

Is everyone happy for me to ask for some voluntary contributions via our usual PayPal facility?

I’ll give more information when we have the costing from Kieran.

Once again, people have gone above and beyond to make our facilities the best we can manage.

There is a donation section on the server operations centre section. There is no obligation on anyone to contribute, but we are always happy for any support.

We keep our costs as low as we possibly can, but this stuff does cost money to maintain.
