me shane and shaggy have just had nearly every sam and a-a missile in the region shot at us and we killed them all anyway, me and shaggy landed with 200lb of fuel spare we also did the whole furball against 4 mig 29s with all the atg ordnance hanging off it the tacview is MENTAL!!
shane and shaggy were SPOT ON for the whole mission!! shaggy was making great calls during the fight and shane made the excellent decision to stay out of it but close enough to intervene if needed, EXCELLENT job boys!

Once they're all shooting at the tald how do you kill the sites? Guns?

Thats a good question Scoobs, myself & Si went down low for a gander once we knew all the SAM's were winchester, the Gainful is a 2part system, 1xTracked Radar & 1xTracked Missile Launcher, not easy to see.
With some practice on the Lantirn in Snowplow mode / HUD mode it may be possible to search and QDES ????
In this mode we can look forward out to 15miles, albeit it's not exactly a clean image, I'll have a practice run and see if it's feasible, failing that then it's good old guns

A very effective method is to drop your TALD, turn out a few degrees and back in then drop another. Drop to a lower altitude and watch the Sam's fire at the TALD. Then remember the launch point and go at it low level with rockets.

Yes you go in with the Lantirn while the SAM is occupied with the TALD.
Maybe the mission can run as a several parter where the SAM sites are reccied by a recon flight and co-ordinates fed forward to the SEAD flight so that once the TALD is up the SEAD can go in with the Lantirn slaved to grid co-ordinates. Alternatively I can just brief the co-ordinates to SEAD prior to take off but that seems too easy.
